Separate interface capture from marketing copy

A translated headline over an English screen is a different asset from a fully localized application capture. Decide which representation is appropriate and record it in the production brief. Verify that the app can reach each required state without exposing personal accounts. Debug-only capture helpers can speed preparation, but they must not change the release experience or manufacture functionality that the submitted build does not have.

Create a source-of-truth manifest

For each locale, placement and scene, track the capture source, copy revision, dimensions and final object key. Include device categories explicitly rather than inferring them from filenames. This prevents a valid image from being attached to the wrong display group. A manifest also makes interrupted production recoverable: rerun missing or changed entries instead of regenerating and reuploading everything from memory.

Design for language expansion

Long strings, right-to-left scripts and different line-breaking rules need layout space. Test representative extremes before generating the whole batch. A headline that technically fits may still obscure the product or look unbalanced. Use local-language review where meaning is uncertain, and avoid claiming that character-count validation proves a translation is natural or that every script will render correctly in a chosen font.

Build checks at several stages

Validate that the app is in the expected language and scene, then inspect the composed image, then confirm store acceptance. Compare duplicates so a failed language switch does not create many locales with the same capture. Check corners, clipping and aspect ratios at the final size. These visual defects can persist through a perfectly successful automated upload because the transport cannot judge whether the picture is good.

Plan safe updates and storage

Keep originals and final outputs separate, versioned and linked. Store large media in the agreed object storage and avoid accumulating temporary local duplicates. A batch job should retry a failed item without overwriting unrelated completed assets. Before deleting working files, verify the archived objects and retain the manifest needed to reconstruct the published set. Cleanup should be scoped to generated media, not application code or signing materials.

Localized asset acceptance

• Choose representative long and right-to-left headlines early and inspect actual line breaks before producing the complete language set.
• Compare captures across locales to detect a failed language switch that generated the same interface repeatedly.
• Confirm placement attachment after upload, and preserve the manifest so an interrupted batch can resume with missing entries instead of blindly duplicating completed work.

Define acceptance as a usable release set

StoreFront Studio is Arte Soft’s published asset-production reference. For a client, agree the supported locales, placements and review responsibilities, then deliver the manifest, checked assets and upload evidence. Automation should reduce repetitive labor while preserving an editorial decision point. It should not be sold as a guarantee that hundreds of unreviewed translations or copied screens are correct simply because all files share a consistent design and the expected pixel dimensions.
